Team Spirit
 As a designer of materials for breast cancer fund-raising walks in New York City, Andrea is used to seeing her work on billboards in Times Square. But she never lets it go to her head. "I do a small part," she says, "along with so many others. These events are all about teamwork."
It's that spirit that motivates Andrea to pitch in...and speak up. "You have to reach out; you have to admit that you need help." she says. As with any major obstacle, breast cancer can make you feel angry and want to pull away from others. "I've had several close friends suffer from breast cancer. The ones who seek support benefit from those around them. They embrace a positive outlook on life. This isn't something you should have to handle on your own," says Andrea. |
